I’ve got some great news! To coincide with Hilton Worldwide’s Winter sale, “Any Weekend, Anywhere“, I am running an exclusive competition where one lucky reader will win £200 of Hilton Worldwide UK vouchers which can be exchanged for a stay at a Hilton Worldwide hotel in London or at other destinations across the UK.
Hilton Worldwide’s current sale, which ends on 31 January, can save you up to 50% off the cost of a weekend break at any of over 3,600 hotels around the world. So, for example, visitors to London could treat themselves to a night at the theatre on the Strand and retire to the luxury boutique Trafalgar Hotel overlooking Trafalgar Square itself, see the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London while staying a stone’s throw away at the Hilton London Tower Bridge, or browse antiques during the day and spend an evening enjoying live music and funky food around the corner from their room at the modern Hilton London Islington Hotel. In fact, you’d be spoilt for choice selecting somewhere to stay in London in London, as there are 24 Hilton Worldwide properties here in total.
So, how do you get your hands on this prize? It’s simple – all you have to do is to identify the statues and monuments in the following pictures (just click on the image below for a full-size version), and leave your answers in the comments area of this post, adding a “fun fact” about one of them. For those of you who might struggle to identify them all, I’ll provide you with two small clues – 2 are not in the centre of London but can be found in the suburbs, and all of them have featured on the blog over the last year or so. If more than one person identifies all of them correctly, the answer which has the best “fun fact” will receive the prize.
The competition will run for three weeks, closing on 16 February, and I will contact the winner directly by email. Remember, though, that the Hilton Worldwide “Any Weekend, Anywhere” –www.hilton.co.uk/wintersale – offer only runs until next Monday, so get your booking in fast!
