Last night was another outing at the London Blogger’s Meetup, organised as usual by Andy Bargery. This time the occassion was St Patrick’s Day and so we met at an appropriate location, the well-stocked bar at Diageo PLC‘s London HQ (they own the Guinness, Smirnoff, Bailey’s and other drink brands).
I’m not a fan of stout so Bushmills Irish whisky was the star attraction for me – I spent the entire evening supping Whisky Sours and chatting to other London Bloggers. I wasn’t aware that they actually make some single malts, including 10 and 16 years old, the latter of which was wonderful – it had a really gentle and mellow taste, rather than like drinking a mouthful of wet dirt which is what most single malt reminds me of 😐 Must get some in…
